New Sounds! "Piano and Voice" an electronic invention in three parts

While working on the Cocktail Nuts project, pianist Jon Ozment and I

discovered a mutual interest in expiremental electronic music. Jon was working with

Numark DJ-style CD players, loopers, and effects and I was working with a laptop

computer running Ableton Live software. I suggested to Jon that we exchange samples

of each other. I would take his acoustic piano samples and he would take my vocal

samples. We'd mess with them a bit on our own, then get together and improvise a duet

playing the sounds we had exchanged. The result of our efforts is called "Piano and

Voice - an electronic invention in three parts".  The three parts consist of our duet and

our two solo efforts. They are essentailly live performances that we have edited  for

length and continuity. You can find "Piano and Voice" here...

Welcome

Welcome to Patrick's webpage!  The main purpose of this site is to make available most if not all the music I've recorded in my adult life.

Click Music Online to find  www.streamload.com/pstacey .

It's all there for free, although tips are appreciated. If you plan on keeping the music, burning it to CD or putting on your Ipod or other mp3 device, feel free to download whatever you'd like.  If you just want to listen to it at your computer, please push the play button and it will stream to you.

Come back here for more notes about the archive, announcements about new music and other projects and events.

Enjoy! Thanks! P
